Cu Chi Tunnels

Sorry for the delay in posting our last rounds of trips.  I've been back in the states for 2 weeks now and think I have finally gotten over the jet lag.  So, now it's time to get this fanatic 31 day journey posted!  We started out our 31 day trip in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.  We arrived super early in the morning and hit the ground running.  We had enough time to freshen up and head off to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels.  I was really excited to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels and Vietnam in hopes that my visiting would encourage my Opa to talk a little about his 2 tours during the Vietnam War.  Oma and Opa were one of the first people I visited after getting back to the states.  My hopes were granted.  I learned that Opa was very near to Cu Chi Tunnels and could see them coming in and out of them.
A lot of the information we received during our tour of the Cu Chi Tunnels and other parts of Vietnam was anti-American propaganda.  Some things we found a little humorous and stifled our giggles.

I could have fit all the way but it gave me the creeps

Brian climbed through a bit of the tunnels.  I couldn't because I started getting panicky.

So, that was our first day in Vietnam.  The next day we visited many sights in Ho Chi Minh City.  Stay tuned.  Until next time....
