Cameron Highlands

After KL we headed to the Cameron Highlands for a break from the city and the heat.  Unfortunately, we were there over a weekend, which means the city comes to the highlands.  We visited tea plantations, a Buddhist temple, and walked around a lot.
The tea plantations were so beautiful and peaceful.  We enjoyed walking through them and sipping on tea.  There were also many strawberry fields.  So, we had a lot of strawberry ice cream, strawberry popsicles and strawberry cake!
Here are some shots from the tea plantations.

We got to see a little family fishing in the stream.

Strawberries

We ate the Ye Olde Smokehouse twice and really enjoyed the food and the beautiful gardens.

Last but not least, the peaceful Buddhist temple:

Up next Georgetown, my favorite place we visited in Malaysia.  Until next time.
