Hoi An and Hue City

Our second stop in Vietnam was De Nang.  We used De Nang as a stopping point to visit Hoi An and Hue.  Hoi An was on my travel list and Hue was on Brian's.  De Nang was really nice with beautiful beaches, though we only drove past them.
Hoi An is a beautiful city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.  Hoi An is famous for their lanterns.  We were unable to see them lit up at night but enjoyed them in the heat of the day.  We visited several temples and museums as well as had some clothes made.

Now for Hue.  Hue was the capital of Vietnam during the feudal times.  While there we visited the Hue Citadel, some of the emperor tombs, and some pagodas.  Brian was fascinated with the history of the Citadel, while I enjoyed looking at the architecture of it.
